We currently offer Sunday School classes during our 10:00 A.M. service for three year olds through high school age. We use the lectionary based, interdenominational curriculum entitled "The Whole People of God." The same teachings are used during our church service, which in turn offers a greater opportunity for families to share in their spiritual growth. Children's bulletins are available to children as they arrive each Sunday. This also follows the lectionary thus further reinforcing the messages discussed that day. Our Sunday School teachers are volunteers from within our congregation. The classroom time includes Bible stories, spiritual teaching, outreach activities and crafts, and music and games that tie into the weekly lesson plan.

Nursery care is available during our 10:00 A.M. service for infants and toddlers. Andrea, our long time caregiver, offers a warm and loving presence. She ensures a safe and secure environment for our young children, age three and under. We follow the school calendar cutoff dates.

We also offer Junior High and High School Youth Groups. The students themselves are integral part of the planning process for these groups, ensuring that an enjoyable time is had by all, in a spiritually uplifting environment.

Bible Sunday is a time when we give our third grade students their own easy to understand Bible that they can read at home. We have currently chosen to distribute The Children's Illustrated Bible. This Bible contains many of the popular Biblical stories with colorful pictures and interesting background information.

Communion classes are offered in the spring for our fourth grade students as well as older students who have not had the opportunity to participate in the past. We meet during the Sunday School time to discuss the meaning of communion and how we can participate in this Holy activity. This class is offered for four weeks and culminates with the children making the elements, sharing what Communion means to them, and participating in their first Communion during the church service.

The Pastor leads Confirmation. Due to our Pastor's recent call to another congregation, the Confirmation program is under review. Please call the church office or Bev David, the Sunday School Coordinator, for up to date information.

Through the summer months, a group Sunday School is offered during our single 9:00 A.M. service. Adult volunteers from the congregation are rotated during this time. We do not offer nursery care in the summer, but we do encourage families to make use of the nursery room during our service.
